In this message, Mac emphasizes the significance of the grace of God as revealed in Titus 2:11-14, which brings salvation and instructs believers to live righteously. He highlights that grace is personified in Jesus Christ, who not only saves but also transforms and disciples us, conforming us to His image. Mac stresses that God's grace is available to all mankind, reflecting His desire for everyone to be saved. He discusses the concept of being God's "own possession," a term rooted in the Old Testament, illustrating that believers are called to be a holy nation and a kingdom of priests. The message underscores the importance of Christ living in us, which is foundational to our faith. Mac warns against the dangers of relying on self-effort or knowledge without the life of Christ. He encourages believers to embrace their identity in Christ, recognizing that true freedom comes from serving Him and others. Ultimately, Mac calls for a deeper revelation of Christ in our lives, urging us to allow His life to manifest through us as we navigate the challenges of the present age.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
