Message #1

We must come to the realization that we do not know how to pray.
1. We must ask the Lord to teach us how to pray.
2. We should not presume that we know how to pray.
We must have the desire to pray.
We must keep our heart open to the Lord, trusting the Holy Spirit to give us the right words.

Message #2 Matthew 9:35-38.

In the matter of prayer, we must see as the Lord sees. This will give us a burden to pray. We must discharge the burden through prayer.
1. No vision means no burden.
2. IF we are over-burdened by our own needs, we will be unable to intercede for others.

We have to have our spirit open, being alert and sensitive to get the mind of the Lord and to receive His burden.
1. Burden is not something that we wait passively to receive, but something that we take up actively.
2. In our everyday lives, the Lord will put burdens on our heart, and we must turn these burdens into prayer.

Message #3 Matthew 18:19

If two of us shall agree on the earth as touching any matter, it shall be done of our Father in heaven. Two or more constitutes corporate prayer.
1. The condition that we must fulfill when praying corporately is agreement. Agreement means that we are in harmony one with another. Agreement can only come about as we lay down our own self will and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
2. The key to corporate prayer is laying down our own will and seeking His will. It is coming into agreement with God and with each other.
3. Corporate prayer must be under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
4. The Holy Spirit will move mightily in our midst when we pray in unity.
