This Is The Message

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

¹⁴ And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

⁹ If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

⁶ This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

⁴ For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

³ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

²³ And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

²⁵ And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

⁵ This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
