Geoffrey shares about the joy of the Lord as seen in Paul's letter to the church in Philippi. He discusses how joy is found only in the Lord and in His presence. Joy does not come from our circumstances, but from the life of the Lord.
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance. 16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
