After reading the account of the Lord’s encounter with two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus, Andrew Murray wrote "How possible it is to have Jesus Himself with us and never to know it, and how possible to preach of, and to listen to, all the truth about Jesus Himself and yet not to know Him.”
As we approach the 29th Northeast Christian Conference at Harvey Cedars, NJ, we sense a renewed calling to consider how we first received and heard, and to return afresh—not to conference themes or conference ministry, as such, but to the Lord Jesus Himself, to Christ our Life, our Vision, our Master – so that together, in response to His calling, we may see and know and follow Him alone.
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
