Summary

The battle that the enemy is waging against the saints is the battle of the mind. The mind of man has been corrupted through the fall of man. When the light of the Holy Spirit comes in at our initial salvation experience, there is a great change that takes place. However, our mind rebels against the change that has taken place in our inner man. This leads to many defeats in the Christian life. The way of deliverance is "the renewing of the mind." Transformation takes place through the renewing of the mind. We will become whatever we are setting our mind upon. Our minds are renewed as we present our bodies unto God as a living sacrifice. The Holy Spirit is the One who does this work of the renewing of our minds.
