Hoseah shares heartfelt reflections on the conference, likening his experience to Ruth gleaning in the fields of Boaz, emphasizing the richness found in the Lord Jesus. He acknowledges his own laziness in spiritual pursuits but expresses gratitude for the servants of God who make it easier for him to receive blessings. Hoseah discusses the fullness of God, which is found in Christ, and compares it to a musical scale that continues infinitely. He highlights the importance of a deep, intimate relationship with God, where secrets are shared between friends. Hoseah emphasizes that God desires to reveal His heart to those who fear Him, and he explores the concept of God's secrets, which are shared with those who are trustworthy. He reflects on biblical figures like Abel, Noah, Enoch, and Abraham, who were given glimpses of God's secrets due to their close relationship with Him. Ultimately, Hoseah encourages believers to cultivate a genuine friendship with God, characterized by open communication and a willingness to listen, as this leads to a deeper understanding of His heart and purpose.
14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
