Confidence

Confidence in Christ is indistinguishable from faith in Christ. Although I believe that the concept of confidence is easier for our minds to grasp. We can place our confidence in many things, but they are misplaced unless we are placing our confidence in Christ. If we lack confidence in Christ scripture tells us there are ways to build that confidence including hearing the word in Christ, being in the presence of the Lord, and exercising what confidence we have. Finally, this confidence becomes something of substance only when it produces actions based on that confidence. This substance will bring Glory to the Lord.
