Good morning, Jim.
Heavenly Father, we want to thank You that You have reconciled us to Yourself and that we are Yours forever. Oh, what a wonderful thing that is, just to think about: Yours forever. Thank You for redeeming us to Yourself.
And now, because of that, we can come to You—and we do. We come to You right now and ask, Lord, that our hearts would be opened because You have opened heaven. And as You have opened up to us, we want to open up to You today.
Lord, Your Word is Your Word, and it is only Your sword in Your hand. So, Lord, we want to give You back Your Word. We want to pray that it would be food for us today. We do not want it to be merely teaching, although it has a tendency to be that. But we give it to You, that You might make it into bread and feed us, Lord, and strengthen us so that we can go on ahead and walk with You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
This is the third time I am going to be sharing on this subject, walking with God. I do not have an elaborate PowerPoint today, so do not get your hopes up.
These are the verses that we have been sharing from about walking with God. I put them in the order that we have looked at them. In Hebrews 11:5, it says:
