Oh, dear.
Let’s just have a word of prayer to begin with.
Father, we do want to thank You this morning for bringing us to Yourself. It is You who have brought us to Yourself through the great work of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We praised Him this morning. We tell You that we love Him, and we love You, and we love the Holy Spirit.
And we ask, Lord, that as we open Your Word today, You would speak to us. Speak to us in a way that affects us in this day—the day that we live in. Lord, we’re not asking for some teaching or something that is just going to fill our heads, but Lord, we want You to speak to us so that it affects us in this day that we live in.
Only You, who are the living God, can speak a living word into our hearts in this very time we live. And so, we’re looking to You. You’ve given us Your Word. You’ve given us Your Spirit. Now I pray You’d let Your Spirit take the Word to us and speak to us. May we be, Lord, strengthened by the Word. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Okay, I’m going to give you three scenarios. Okay? Three scenarios.
One is in Exodus 32. So I’m going to be in the Old Testament for the first two scenarios, okay? Exodus 32.
Starting with the first verse:
