Oh Lord, I see it now.
I see the church as one.
Low walls, no barriers, nothing in
between.
And the world can see
You have come.
Oh Lord, You know my heart.
You know I want Your perfect way.
The church in unity, reflecting all Your
beauty,
so the world can see You have come.
You’d think it’d be such a simple thing
for saints to live together. But every
effort tried by man has failed to make us
one.
Now I’ll have to die.
Self be crucified.
I hear the trumpet sound, and the angels
sing as the bride steps forward.
Pure, clean, longing for her husband, and
Jesus, Lord, You’re the One.
So I guess I’ll simply have to
fellowship
with those who’ll bear the testimony that
Jesus Christ is Head of His church.
He is love.
To whom else can I go?
You alone
have the life that I need.
